We are a family business, operating with family values. We emphasize care, compassion, and hard work, which naturally translates to the pride we have in raising our puppies. Our story began in 2016, when Jordy, our first goldendoodle and first family dog, sadly passed away. Needless to say, we were devastated. Yet as we reflected, we saw the joy he brought us and the impact he had made in our lives, and we realized that everyone should be able to feel that way about their pets. A year later, we had our first litter, and Goldendoodle Reds had taken off. 

RAISING OUR PUPPIES

Our puppies are born to our guardian mothers (read more HERE) in the comfort of our home. In the coming days, they are weighed, given collars for identification, and each named. In the eight weeks they spend with us, the first few are with their mother. We believe that giving the puppies adequate time with their mother is extremely beneficial to their behavioral and social development, as well as their physical development. Our puppies are monitored constantly during their stay to make sure they are eating and drinking enough, and keeping at a healthy weight. Besides mother involvement, our other major component in our philosophy is the implementation of Early Neurological Stimulation (ESS). This process involves exposing the puppies to sensory stimuli (gentle turning, cold towels, massaging paws) for short periods of time at a very young age. Through both research and implementation, we have found ESS to make our puppies much more stress resistant and calmer overall. As they begin to run around and play with their siblings, they spend frequent time outside under our watchful eye, promoting physical activity, and experience using the bathroom outdoors (potty training IS something we begin to teach them as well). After eight weeks, they are picked up by their families and taken home, and our job is reduced solely to occasional check-ins.
